獻慶剛收到IOP Trusted Reviewer status (IOP可信任審稿人)認證的通知信件，通知已成為IOP可信任審稿人。
我最近又沒去報名上課，怎麼會有認證。
一時間有點糊塗了，然後有些回憶慢慢上來。
以下先來介紹IOP Trusted Reviewer status (IOP可信任審稿人) and IOP Peer Review Excellence (IOP同儕審稿課程)
IOP Trusted Reviewer status (IOP可信任審稿人)
IOP可信任審稿人地位旨在表彰最優秀的同儕審查者。只有前15%的評審員才能獲得此認可並獲得認證。
我們是唯一一家根據評論品質來認可評論者的出版商。一旦您完成了我們的同儕審查卓越培訓並提交了出色的評審，您將獲得IOP可信任審稿人認證。
官網原文介紹:
IOP Trusted Reviewer status is designed to recognise the very best peer reviewers. Only the top 15% of our reviewers will achieve this recognition and receive certification.We’re the only publisher recognising reviewers based on the quality of their reviews. Once you have completed our Peer Review Excellence training and/or submitted an outstanding review, you will receive IOP Trusted Reviewer certification.
IOP敢這樣說也不是沒有原因。獻慶在獲得了ACS跟OSA的審稿人認證後，目前發現只有IOP的審稿人認證是要真的去審一篇文章，還有人來針對審稿報告進行評分。分數要到達水準線，才會核發認證。算是相當嚴謹的發證方式。

如何獲得
- 通過IOP Peer Review Excellence (IOP同儕審稿課程)。
- 要在學習系統中回答 "Yes"，同意成為IOP可信任審稿人。期刊會邀請去審稿，當審稿的評分高於80分時，即可獲得認證。
在完成IOP Peer Review Excellence課程的信件原文中有提到:
If you answered ‘Yes’ to the question ‘Would you like to become an IOP Trusted Reviewer’, you will be invited toreview a manuscript within your field of expertise. Your review will be graded by an experienced peer review editorusing the IOP Publishing Reviewer Score. If your peer review report receives a grade of 80% or more –corresponding to a score of 4 or 5 out of 5 – you will receive IOP trusted reviewer certification.
PS: 獻慶這張認證，應該是前陣子審了一篇Nanotechnology期刊的文章，並且審稿的評分高於80分，才核發的。
IOP Peer Review Excellence (IOP同儕審稿課程)
IOP Peer Review Excellence (IOP同儕審稿課程)，該線上課程總共有三大區塊，每個區塊中又切分出許多小課程
1. Peer review fundamentals
2. Writing an excellent report
3. Peer review ethics
每個區塊都有課程測驗，上完課，通過測驗後，可拿到證照。

帳號資源問題
獻慶在2023-10-05收到IOP Publishing的來信，信上說(僅翻譯部分):
因為課程在全世界的需求很高，而我們也樂於免費提供該資源給研究人員。然而帳號資源有限，我們需要把資源釋出給有需要的人。
作為已通過課程的人，你的帳號資源在2023-11-24將會釋放出給其他人使用。
原文:
The global demand for the course is high and we are pleased to offer this free of charge to all researchers. However, as account subscriptions to the course are limited, we would like to offer your spot to someone else who would like to take the course.As a graduate we are therefore required to inform you that your Peer Review Excellence account will be deactivated on 24th November 2023. You will still be listed as a graduate in our database and are still on the fast-track to IOP Trusted Reviewer status.
關於IOP Publishing
IOP Publishing為學術為主題的出版公司，主要發行物有世界級的科研期刊、網站、雜誌、會議期刊、書籍等。
總部在英國布里斯托(Bristol)，成立於1874年。又是一間學術出版的百年老店。
感想
其實學術界最近對於審稿人的需求越來越大，因此才催生出這些線上課程跟認證。各大百年期刊老店 (例如: ACS，OSA) 紛紛推出自己的認證課程。這些對於推動學術前進，確實相當有幫助。
獻慶從2022-06-16拿到IOP Peer Review Excellence (IOP同儕審稿課程)認證。到2023-10-05才拿到IOP Trusted Reviewer status (IOP可信任審稿人)認證，這個期長超過了一年。看起來真不簡單。有點像是學生從學校畢業後，還要去考專業證照，才表示具備專業能力。
上完課不代表真的會處理問題。IOP很明確地知道這點，因此才採用"實戰型"的認證核發制度。IOP也強調 "只有前15%的評審員才能獲得此認可並獲得認證"。含金量十足的一張證照!
IOP不僅在課程與認證上很認真，甚至為了證照的可信度，IOP還不僅是單純給個PDF證書，而是給出經過認證機構驗證的網路連結，讓第三方可以直接去看到認證。
不僅如此，IOP為了加強認證機制，加入區塊鏈(blockchain)技術。在認證跟防偽上面，下足了工夫。
