Course Description:

Energy storage are emerging as one of the potential solutions to increaseelectrical grid flexibility, due to their unique capability to quickly absorb, holdand then reinject electricity. In this training, you will be introduced to the different categories of energy storage technologies, with focus on battery system for medium and large scale applications.

Objectives:

•Describe the different categories of energy storage technology.

•Identify the several types of battery technology.

•Recognize the components of a battery energy storage system.

Energy Management through Metering

Course Description:

In this module you will learn how to manage energy in your electrical installation projects through sub metering and branch monitoring. 

The training will introduce the advantages and benefits of having additional metering and monitoring devices included in your installation. You will be able to select sub meters from the ABB portfolio that suit your application the best.

During the ILT will also set up meters and connect them to the Energy Analyzer. Using I/O and registers will also be part of the training

Objectives:

•Differentiating between metering and measuring

•Selecting from ABB portfolio according to the installation requirements

•Introduction into branch monitoring

ABB Solutions for Solar Segment – Energy Storage and Plant Monitoring

Course Description:

This lesson provides you with useful information regarding ABB solutions for Energy Storage and Plant Monitoring. Upon completion of this module, you will be able to confidently present to your customers the value propositions of these solutions.

Objectives:

•Present the value propositions of ABB solutions for Energy Storage and Plant Monitoring.

•Enable the learner to cross-check customer's requirements and specifications.

•Give the learner the ability to confidently advise their customers on product selection.

Battery Energy Storage Systems: drivers, trends, typologies

Course Description:
